Update #1 - Development Going Smooth!
Hey y'all! Just popping into to give an update 1 week after the launch of AKASAH!
I originally thought the first update would come out closer to August / September. But the development has been rolling smooth (thanks to some extra time I've had to work on it) and based on the progress I've made thus far, I'm confident it's only a week or two away!
Releasing this initial version of was an ESSENTIAL part of the process to truly realize what is good and what needs to change about the game. This has been an essential part of my process for years now with making games. As soon as I can truly imagine my projects in front of users, suddenly the vision becomes much more clear even before it gets into the hands of real users.
SO what's coming next?
Here's a short list:
- All new Crystal Pickups system, replacing all old pickups. Much more engaging and allow for improved level design.
- HOLD [R] Key to Recall, instead of tapping, preventing accidental or confusing use.
- Level design, visual and UX improvements all around.
